We offer an intensive, comprehensive training program designed to build competency in pastors for helping congregations through pivotal transitions and a time of change. The program is offered over an eight-month period with monthly full-day sessions and reading and practicum assignments between sessions. The format includes presentation, small group discussion, and case study analysis to teach both theory and practice. We welcome pastors of all denominations and address both full-time and part-time/bi-vocational settings. This training can also benefit "settled" pastors who are intentional about guiding their congregation through a time of transition and change.
One day workshops that serve as continuing education for experienced interim ministers and an introduction for those considering this field are also offered annually. These are sponsored by the WI Conference UCC. The same workshop is held in two locations. Contact us for more information or check the website www.wcucc.org for further information and registration.
We are also available to help congregations and governing bodies to identify their interim needs, develop position and person descriptions, and create tools for evaluation.
